In a natural disaster situation, we all know we should take our animals with us if we have to evacuate. At the second annual Tails of the Season animal adoption event, there won't just be animals for adoption but the public will learn about disaster preparedness as well. In this episode we talk to Amanda Peterson with Piggie Poo Rescue on how to care for your smaller animals when an emergency strikes. Tails of the Season happens November 17th and takes place at Northwest Community Church which is located at 16615 N. 43rd Avenue in Phoenix. Admission to the event and parking are FREE.

The event is open from 10am - 3pm and will also feature low cost vaccinations & micro-chipping, public safety demos, a dog agility course, food, and a raffle which benefits Safe Haven For Animals and Empty Bowl Pet Food Pantry.

Cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy and the host of Animal Planet's show My Cat From Hell was recently in Phoenix to talk about cats and answer the questions on a lot of humans minds about them. He sat down with Cat Galaxy and told us how he got his start in a cat's world when we recently caught up with him at Cat Mojo 101 which was hosted by Moderncat. The proceeds from the event went to benefit Safe Haven For Animals, All About Animals Rescue and Hope for Cats.

Are any of you cats looking to get a new pet because your human needs additional duties? Cat Galaxy sat down with Shari Bender from Piggie Poo Rescue to talk about their work rescuing and finding new homes for guinea pigs. We also talk about their care, whether or not they're cat friendly, Piggie Poo's new adoption center, and other need to know facts about the organization.

In this edition of In The Cat's Eyes, Cat Galaxy sat down with Lorina Lopez (and Harley) from Arizona Cattle Dog Rescue as they get ready for Tails of the Season an animal adoption event happening November 12th at Wildfire Elementary School located at 3997 E. Lockwood Drive in Phoenix. Lopez talked with Cat Galaxy about the breed, it's history and whether or not they're cat friendly.

Cat Galaxy caught up with the Top Dog herself Eileen Proctor at the Wonder Pet Expo and she talked about the event as well as her latest ventures including a new business and her radio talk show on Blogtalk Radio in which she interviews members of the animal rescue community. She even invited Isis, Icarus and the Cat Protector himself to come on the show and talk about Cat Galaxy.

What is Western X? Cat Galaxy sat down with actors Vernon G. Wells, Dustin Hale and the show's creator Michael Flores to talk about their new series Western X and what fans can expect in upcoming episodes. For those that have yet to see it, Western X is a post-apocolyptic western about a man named X who suddenly awakes not knowing who he is or where he came from. He then goes on a journey to learn the truth of his identity and also fight unknowingly the ghosts of his past.
