Cat Galaxy Calls For A Travel Boycott Of Australia After Government Decides To Kill Feral Cats Using Poison

Cats are killed in the Australian outback and left to hang by their tails. The Australian government has stated they plan to kill 2 million feral cats by 2020 using poison.

Cat Galaxy, the internet radio and TV station for cats is calling for a boycott of Australia after the country’s government revealed its plan to kill 2 million feral cats by 2020 by lacing sausages with poison. The boycott calls for a complete travel ban to the country.

“We’re hoping that cat lovers from around the world would condemn these actions by the Australian government by not traveling to or spending their money in the country. To outright poison cats is wrong. There are better or humane ways to handling the feral cat issue than poison. Trap, neuter and return is the best option and doesn’t require any cats to be killed,” said Nohl Rosen, founder of Cat Galaxy.
