Welcome to the Feline Fun Page. Here you will see various reviews, stories and information about local events taking place in the Phoenix area which might affect our feline and human readers. Meow and enjoy. Do The WWE Stars Have Cats?
Photo courtesy of World Wrestling Entertainment WWE Diva Katie Lea Burchill proudly admits she's a cat lover. In March Glendale, AZ and other parts of metro Phoenix will play host to Wrestlemania XXVI which is World Wrestling Entertainment's biggest show. However, which stars have cats waiting for them at home? Cat Galaxy has heard reports that claim that the following wrestlers have indeed given part of their lives to the cause of feline domination. Here's a list of some of the notables from the WWE that indeed have cats or have shared their home with them at one time. John Cena is supposedly owned by 3 cats named Puma, Stinky and Graybee. While we can't understand why a human would give a cat the name of Stinky, we can only guess that it might have to do with some of the things cats get into and use like the litterbox. Though no longer with the WWE, Terry "Hulk Hogan" Bollea who has headlined Wrestlemania in the past has been noted to have had a black cat. No, her name isn't Isis. Lisa Moretti who in her WWE days was known as Ivory works with cats everyday as a part of her animal grooming business. WWE Diva Jillian (Jillian Faye Fletcher) mentions on the WWE web site that she traded in her two dogs for two cats. A smart woman to say the least. When watching her on TV she may sound bad singing but perhaps she's just mocking dogs. Kelly Kelly (Barbara Jean "Barbie" Blank) has also mentioned on the WWE web site that she too is a cat lover. ) Katie Lea Burchill (Katarina Waters) also joins Jillian and Kelly Kelly in the ranks of being a cat servant. When not on the road she plays staff member to her calico named Pixie. She admits her cat lives in a nice neighborhood around nice people and gets pampered quite often. She obviously knows that it's always good to serve royalty. Now that we know that some of the WWE universe are cat lovers, will we be seeing their feline family members at ringside? I guess we'll just have to keep our cat eyes out for that one when the event comes to Phoenix. Wrestlemania XXVI takes place on March 28, 2010 at the University Of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. Kitten Video A Hit With Cat Lovers
By now, people have heard of Fat Boy Slim's version of the Steve Miller song The Joker. Here is one fun video we thought we would share via You Tube, where kittens dominate and dogs have no place.. It's one of our favorite picks here at the station. It's also a hit amongst cat lovers. Cat Galaxy Spotlight: Icarus
Icarus is no doubt Cat Galaxy's resident wild child. Icarus joined the Cat Galaxy staff as Program Director in 2004 and has been responsible for providing the heavy alternative and rock to the station. Always on duty, Icarus is very lively, fun loving and has no problem getting into mischief now and again. Icarus is often overseeing many of our live shows and sometimes he'll even get on the mic now and again. Favorite foods: Steak and tuna. Favorite music: Alternative rock Favorite musical artist: Unknown. He likes heavy alternative rock. Favorite daily activity: Climbing and running. Watching the birds out the window. Favorite TV Shows: Boston Legal
Icarus is always ready for fun. He often meows that his favorite thing to do is to find a warm spot and take a nap but he is also up for play time as well. Good food is also something he enjoys as well especially when it's tuna and the occasional steak.
